CDC: Day 21 - Fang's Bane (Incomplete)

ohyeah,story...  He's a character for a Deadlands campaign in the future.

In 1958, the Third Seminole Wars drew to a close as the Seminoles of Florida grow weary of the war.  Men and supplies were lost in equal parts and land was being destroyed.  "Fangs Bane," as some white men would call him, had experienced this movement to Oklahoma with his mother, already losing his father when he was out raiding.  With this, his hatred of white people had been cemented.  

His war-weary tribe had avoided further conflict until the Civil War, when they witnessed the standstill between the Union and the Confederacy.  As the Sioux nation rises from the conflict, the Seminoles of Oklahoma joined with other Indian tribes in the area to form the Coyote Federation.  "Fangs" grew to have kinship with the other clans, and while the Seminoles were a peaceful tribe after the weariness of the war took its toll on them, "Fangs" was all the more eager to take up the role of scout, patrolling the borders, and dealing with anyone that dares cross.   He even takes up satisfaction in toying with any whiteys that think they're better than him when they're trying to pass, and will take any excuse to pull out his pistol and bean them in the arm or leg.  However, he also will not take any insult lying down, even if it means having to deal the ultimate penalty to a person.

His tribe, along with most of the Coyotes, are open to the idea of using more sophisticated tools, such as guns and machinery.  However, with the attacks by the more aggressive tribes and the unkind behavior of the whites in return, the Old Ways of the Sioux have wriggled their way into the Seminole tribe.  Fangs finds it hard nowadays to get trade from the Confederacy to get bullets and other modern necessities.  Fangs is loyal to his tribe and dislikes  the whites to the bone, but he is starting to butt heads with elders that have been taking up the Old Ways in hopes that peace can be had.  To him, peace is a folly that only the naive think up in hopes of better days, and if white people can't even keep peace among themselves, then what hope would the Indians have?  It'll take the right catalyst for him to leave his lands...
